Air Force One

The Star-News broke the story this morning of plans for an Air Force One museum in Wilmington and reporter Max Winitz is following up on that.

Reporter Lynda Figueredo is working on two follow-ups…to the Williston Middle School incident.  The young man at the center of that event is due to be released from the Juvenile Detention Center.  She’s also following up on her report about the Carolina Beach Road bones case.

Reporter Gavin Johnson is headed to Pender County on several stories and is also putting together a special report for tonight’s 11 p.m. newscast on DNA testing for dogs.

I can overhear Investigative Reporter Casey Roman working the phones on a story about nursing homes.  This is the time of year when the daily news grind slows down and we have to do more enterprise reporting.  Casey is our specialist when it comes to that.
