I have never been on this site before so I found it funny that you have a question posted that I too, wanted to ask about as well. George E. of course. He has been such a knowledgable part of your team, it is very unfortunate he is gone and I hope that as you mentioned, 'in these tough economic times' this was not a short cut by this station b/c he truly has displayed the type of awareness of his field and desire to inform the audience that is not usually seen on the local broadcasts.

I was out of town over the weekend and tuned into WECT on Monday and there is someone new doing the weather! The new guy seems quite capable and very nice, BUT, where is George Eliot and Greg C? I don't necessarily miss George C but I do wonder where George is???

Thanks.
